I love getting ready for a night/evening out and doing my makeup. I try to always make sure I have enough time to sit and do my makeup without rushing! This was the look I wore on New Year’s Eve.
When starting off with your base it’s important to use a moisturizer to ensure the foundation sits nicely on the skin, I used the soap and glory … which I got for Christmas so I haven’t been using it for too long but I do really like it for under makeup so far.
I then used the collection lasting perfect concealer which I also have a post on as it is my favorite concealer I used the shade cool medium as I have a little bit of fake tan on I used this on my chin, the sides of my nose and the bridge of my nose and under my eyes.
I then set my base with the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder.
Time for bronzer! I used the Soap and Glory Solar Powder Bronzer all over my cheekbones, temples and jaw line. I then used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit and took the middle contour shade on my cheek bones and down the sides of the nose to shape/contour my face.
I then highlighted with the Physician’s Formula Nude Wear Highlighter very lightly on the tops of my cheek bones and the bridge of my nose. I also used the pink shade on its own as blusher.
Doing my eye makeup is probably my favorite part of doing my makeup for a night out!
Next I used the Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in Midnight Cowboy I used this under the bottom lash line and all over my lid on top of the eyeshadow, I just dotted i all over the lid i did not drag it along as it is a liquid liner I did not want to ruin any of the eyeshadow that was already done.
I then added some black to the outer corners to smoke it out I used the shade ‘blackout’ from the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette, I also used the shade ‘Tease’ as my transition shade in the crease.
I then lined my top lash line and did a wing I used the Loreal Superliner Perfect Slim for this.
Then time for lashes! I have been using individual eyelashes a lot recently and really loving it I used the Eylure Individual Lashes with Duo Lash Glue.
I then used some of my Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara on the top lashes to blend the individuals in and also on the bottom lashes.
I hope you enjoyed this post.
