I have just got back from a super chilled relaxed weekend away in North Devon with Michael. I booked this little break with the intention of chilling out and being fully relaxed which is exactly what we did. We stayed in a Beach Hut at Hele Bay Beach Cove Costal Retreat in Ilfracombe. I would highly recommend this place it is soooo cute and cosy. I was so impressed with it. When we first arrived we were greeted by a lovely lady on reception who gave us a little tin (pictured last) which we could keep. It had a few cards with things like the wifi password and the key to our hut which was such a lovely touch. I loved the idea of staying in a beach hut especially with a hot tub. The beach hut was so well equipped it had very good heating so it was toasty all the time. The downside would be the shower room/toilet was tiny! and it wasn’t very close to anything in terms of things to do. I honestly love winter weekends away by the sea I just find it so cosy and relaxing especially listening to the sea while being all warm inside. We spent the weekend chilling in the hot tub going for long walks/hikes, exploring the beaches and eating good food. I had such a perfect weekend it was exactly what I needed. I would definitely stay in the Hele Bay Beach Cove Costal Retreat again (in winter). I would rate this place at a 8/10 I would love to visit again one day.

  1. That looks like the perfect little getaway even though its cold I’m sure it was so peaceful since it was off season! I’ve always wanted to do something like that just go stay up at a beachy area in the winter time. I do like seeing the ocean in the winter, its kind of pretty!!!
