I have a few products to share my thoughts on with you which I’m so disappointed by. I have been accumulating these products for a LONG time as they are products that I really just can’t work with no matter how much I try! These views are my own so I am sorry if these are some of your faves!
EOS Lip Balms
It’s rare that I regret buying a product to the point that I actually can’t use it, I don’t know if I’ve just had these ones too long but they do NOTHING they don’t even feel nice on my lips. its so hard and so tacky and just drags my lips along when I try to use them. Ive actually thrown them out now thats HOW BAD IT GOT.
Origins Drink up Intensive Overnight Mask:
I was so excited to use this over night mask and I have given it so many chances as I really want this to work! but it’s just so sticky and uncomfortable on the skin. You are meant to apply this before bed tissue of the excess and then wake up with lovely glowing skin moisturizer skin, but no I didn’t find this was the case I woke up with my skin feeling very sticky and that it didn’t really do anything if im honest just kind of sat on the skin.
NYX High Def Loose Powder
I was going to do a whole post about this powder as it is actually the worse makeup product I have ever used. I don’t know if I just got a bad one but this is AWFUL I have used it 3 times and I can’t use it again I was going to give it to a friend to try but its so bad I have just thrown it away. The powder almost feels damp it has such a strange feel to it, and it honestly just doesn’t blend! The first time I used it, it felt a little bit strange but it looked all blended and ok (I was in a rush) and when I went out that night and had a photo taken with flash on it literally looked like a had flour thrown on my face! So I learnt from that mistake and tried a few more times but it doesn’t blend well and when I tried to really blend it, it just moved around and removed the foundation under the powder and went extremely bunchy and dry-looking.
Fairy drops Cat liner in Ultra Black
This eyeliner is USELESS for winged liner which is why I bought it. I thought this would be perfect for winged liner as its called cat liner and its very thin but I found it so hard to work with and I only use it if I just want a thin line along my lash line (which is very rare). I also wouldn’t say its ‘Ultra Black’ not worth the £11.50. I purchased this from ASOS.
Have you got any products you really can’t work with?!
With Love Helena xx
