Lets talk cream cleansing.
I think cream cleansers are so underrated and I actually really like them. I have quite dry skin and I find cream cleansers are an instant pick me up. I always have some kind of cream cleanser in my skin care routine. I use a cream cleanser for a second cleanse as it doesn’t get off all the makeup on its own so I use a micellar water first.
I have been using this cleanse on and off for years it’s a lovely creamy cleanser which feels nice on the skin and gives an instant pick me up, it feels very silky and soft. TOP TIP No7 tends to be on 3 for 2 a lot and I always get money off vouchers when I buy anything from boots which is £5 off skin care £3 off makeup, which is so good, the cleanser doesn’t exactly break the bank anyway as its £8 which is a bargain for a nice cleanser.
This cleanser is definitely better at removing makeup than most cream cleansers I’ve used. It’s very thick and I like that you can scoop it out makes it so much easier and you can use up all the product none of it getting stuck in the pump and all that. I haven’t had this product for ages so I’m still testing it out but so far i am enjoying it. I think I would like it a lot more in the winter due to how thick and moisturizing it is. Another bargain only £5.33.
The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream Cleanser
This is a perfect summer cleanser very thin and moisturizing which quickly settles in, removes excess makeup and again under the £8 mark at £7.50. I always have a bottle of this stuff in my skin care draw as the vitamin e range works so well for my skin.
Rodial Stem Cell 2-1 Cleansing Cream
Ok ok this one is a bit harder on the bank BUT it is a 2-1 so that justifies it 😉 this is a lovely cleanser. Fairly thick in consistency but this product is aimed at dehydrated skin so I do think if your skin is really dry and dehydrated this is worth a try, again this product has vitamin e which is always a dream for my skin. Rodial is a perfect brand to add into your skin care routine they have some really good products.
A few more of really good cream cleansers are Caudalie Gentle Cleansing Milk, Clarins Anti-Pollution Cleansing Milk Dry/Normal and Vichy Purete Termale 3 in 1 One Step Cleanser.
Do you have a cream cleanser in your routine? With Helena xxxx
I like this – these products look very luxurious! I am 43 and still get acne. Even for oily skin like mine, cream cleansers can balance out the oil. I’ve tried some in the past, now I must go and buy again! Nice post Helena!

I actually tried Cetaphil. Great for when your skin is feeling sensitive. I would love to come up with a homemade/diy version!
